Defense, John Lacour carry South Garland past Garland
GARLAND - Defense ruled the night, but it was John Lacour's two second-half touchdowns that made the difference for South Garland in a 17-7 win over Garland.

The game was scoreless until the final two minutes of the first half. Garland quarterback Seth Russell scored from 8 yards out with 1:48 left in the half for a 7-0 lead.
South Garland then drove to the Garland 4-yard line but settled for a 21-yard field goal by Angel Maldonado as time expired in the second quarter.
