Meat on the bone? Anonymous Eagles player questions ex-Cowboy DeMarco Murray's effort in loss

Meat on the bone? Some Philadelphia Eagles players would say that. And some said a lot more regarding ex-Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray.

One anonymous player told Philly.com's Jeff McLane that he wasn't very happy with the running back's effort in the team's loss two weeks ago against the Miami Dolphins.

The player was not happy with the reigning NFL rushing champ.

"Well, when you see DeMarco sliding before getting hit, you tell me. Was that giving full effort?" the anonymous player said. "You see that [stuff], and it makes you wonder."

The Eagles ended up losing that game 20-19. Murray finished with 61 rushing yards on 22 attempts for a 2.8 yards per rush average.

The NFC East is a mess.
