Alberto has played second base, third and shortstop with Gigantes, just as he did with the Rangers this season. He hit .222 with a .500 OPS for 99 at-bats with the Rangers in the regular season and went 2-for-10 with two RBIs in the American League Division Series in place of injured third baseman Adrian Beltre.
