Caitlin Clark is officially the hottest ticket in town.
There are only resale tickets available to watch Clark make her WNBA debut against the Dallas Wings in a sold-out preseason matchup on Friday, May 3, at College Park Center, according to utatickets.com.
Resale tickets started at $43.30 and reached $649.50 as of Wednesday.
“The Caitlin Clark phenomenon, particularly of the last few months, is just adding more and more eyeballs and interest to our game,” Wings president and CEO Greg Bibb said. “She brings a ton of awareness and interest with her. That’s good for everybody…
“From what I’m hearing around the league in ticket sales, corporate partnership engagement, social media engagement from the day she announced she was entering the WNBA, when her college season was over, the interest has been there.”
Ticket prices to sit in the upper bowl for the preseason matchup range from $202 to as high as $584 on utatickets.com. Some seats in the lower bowl cost more than $800.
Single-game tickets for the Dallas Wings’ upcoming season went on sale Thursday. Clark and the Fever are slated to visit College Park Center during the regular season on July 17 and September 1. Available tickets to attend those matchups range from $110 to over $1,600 on utatickets.com.
