Cedar Hill cornerback Marcus Green commits to Oklahoma Sooners after flurry of recruiting interest

I forgot to post on Monday about Cedar Hill cornerback Marcus Green, a senior-to-be who orally committed to Oklahoma over the weekend. He's a physical corner with good size (6-1, 175) and although he's not blazing fast, he's got pretty good wheels.

According to Christian Corona on our Colleges Blog, GreenĀ got an offer from Bob Stoops on May 6 and was offered scholarships by Nebraska and Texas Tech the next day. He also had offers from Missouri, Ole Miss, Arkansas State, North Texas, Houston and North Carolina.

Cedar Hill always has a nice crop of recruits, and that means sometimes guys you don't hear a lot about during the football season end up signing with big-time schools. Green was a late bloomer in the recruiting process, but he could have a big senior year for Cedar Hill.
