Garland 35, North Garland 28

GARLAND - Jordan Spencer ran for 237 yards and four touchdowns, helping Garland escape with a narrow victory over North Garland in double overtime at Homer B. Johnson Stadium.

Spencer's night helped to offset North Garland' Savion Washington, who ran for 189 yards and three touchdowns. However, the Garland (4-2, 2-1) defense swarmed him on fourth-and-1 from the 16 in the second overtime to seal the win.

Washington scored on a 2-yard run to give North Garland (0-5, 0-2) a 28-21 lead, but Spencer took over from there, carrying the ball all 11 plays for the final two touchdowns.
