Frisco Wakeland 46, Frisco Centennial 35

FRISCO - Tyler Kirkindoll threw for 390 yards and four touchdowns to lead Wakeland (6-1, 4-0 District 9-4A) to a come-from-behind 46-35 victory over Centennial (3-4, 2-2) at Pizza Hut Park.

Kirkindoll, who also rushed for a touchdown and a two-point conversion, led Wakeland, SportsDay's sixth-ranked area Class 4A team, to touchdowns on its first five second-half possessions as it overcame a 21-10 halftime deficit.

David Robason added 159 rushing yards and scored the game-sealing touchdown with 3:36 remaining. Jonathan Weisheit hauled in two scoring passes and also intercepted Nick Foster with less than three minutes to go to halt a Centennial drive deep in Wakeland territory. It was one of three second-half turnovers by Centennial.

Foster threw for 362 yards and four touchdowns, and ran for another. Cole Nead led all receivers with 125 yards and three scores.
