Frisco Centennial 45, Carrollton R.L. Turner 10

CARROLLTON - Nick Foster completed 18 of 27 passes for 244 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another to lead Frisco Centennial (2-2, 1-0) to a convincing win over Carrollton R.L. Turner (0-4, 0-1) in the District 9-4A opener.

Donald Guillory opened the scoring with a 19-yard interception return at the 9-minute mark of the first quarter.

Foster, the area's third-ranked passer in Class 4A, connected with Cole Cantrell on a 25-yard scoring toss five minutes later for the 14-0 lead. In the second quarter he tossed a 3-yarder to Lamar Jordan and snuck in from the one to build the lead to 28-3.

Austin Schotts rounded out Centennial's first-half scoring barrage with a 74-yard punt return with 24 seconds left.
