Tom Fox 1. Dontre Wilson, DeSoto/ 137 carries, 764 yards, 19 TDs/ In a tie game midway through the third quarter against Midlothian, Wilson – an Oregon pledge – turned on the jets. Wilson scored four touchdowns from that point (three on three straight possessions), finishing with 21 rushes for 148 yards and five touchdowns and four catches for 94 yards and a score.
Louis DeLuca 2. Kyle Hicks, Arlington Martin/147 carries, 967 yards, 20 TDs/ Committed to Texas, Hicks continues to lead 5A area rushers in touchdown runs, with 20 scores. While kicker Ben Grogan was the story in a 47-7 win over North Crowley (6 FGs, including three 50-plus-yard kicks), Hicks rushed for 82 yards on 12 carries, with two touchdowns.

Bryan Driskell, McKinney Boyd/ 156 carries, 1,261 yards, 13 TDs/ Driskell didn’t rush for 200 yards in a 15-14 win over Plano, breaking a streak of four-straight 200-yard games. But he was crucial to the win, breaking a 55-yard, go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter. The senior is averaging over eight yards per carry, the only 5A rusher with over 90 carries to do so.
Joel Moore 4. Ke’aun Kinner, Little Elm/ 207 carries, 1,790 yards, 18 TDs/ Little Elm stayed in the district race with a 35-28 win over Frisco Heritage, with Kinner at the forefront. He accounted for 339 of Little Elm’s 364 yards, on 32 rushes – with four touchdowns, including scores of 61 and 72 yards. It was the senior’s third 300-yard rushing game.
Khampha Bouaphanh 5. Daniel Gresham, Fort Worth All Saints/ 77 carries, 908 yards, 15 TDs/ Gresham wasn’t asked for much against Oklahoma City Casady, with only three carries and two catches. But the junior, a Texas pledge at fullback, has a yards-per-carry average of 11.79.
File Photo 6. Marquel McNac, South Garland/ 192 carries, 1,329 yards, 14 TDs/ McNac is leading 5A rushers in yards and carries. He’s helped South Garland to a 4-0 start in District 11-5A. In a win over Rowlett, McNac rushed for 180 yards and three scores on 23 carries.
Steve Hamm 7. Teriyon Gipson, Kimball/ 129 carries, 1,090 yards, 14 TDs/ Gipson had another extremely productive game with on a few carries, rushing for 196 yards and three TDs on 12 carries in a 37-0 win over Pinkston. The senior should set his career best in yardage with another strong game. He rushed for 1,166 yards and 13 TDs as a sophomore in 2010.
Tom Fox 9. Treyvon Marsh, Mesquite Horn/ 149 carries, 871 yards, 17 TDs/ After scoring four touchdowns in back-to-back weeks, Marsh was held in check by Longview in Horn’s 25-17 win. The senior had just 18 yards rushing and 28 yards receiving in the win. Marsh didn’t have any yards rushing at half.
