Steve Hamm Desmon White, DeSoto/ 126-199-1,712-4 13 TDs passing; 82-725 6 TDs rushing/ The junior, a dangerous runner, keeps improving as a passer, and it showed in another big performance. White completed 25 of 32 for 289 yards and a touchdown in a 55-24 win over Midlothian last week. White also rushed for 111 yards as DeSoto improved to 7-0.

Hill also rushed for two TDs in the game for Carroll, which is averaging 54 points per game since getting shut out by Allen in its season opener.
Birdville Athletics 6. Justin Martin, Birdville/ 129-182-1,905-3 23 TDs passing; 48-310 5 TDs rushing/ The senior helped Birdville improve to 8-0 by completing 17 of 24 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-14 win over Saginaw. Martin also rushed 10 times for 72 yards in the game.
Christian Randolph 7. Davis Webb, Prosper/ 107-184-1,435-2 17 TDs passing; 65-346 6 TDs rushing/ The senior, who is orally committed to Texas Tech, completed 21 of 34 for 329 yards and three touchdowns in a 47-21 win over The Colony. Webb also rushed for three touchdowns in the win.
Christian Randolph 8. Damion Hobbs, Cedar Hill/ 103-153-1,365-3 16 TDs passing; 778-450 3 TDs rushing/ The senior, who is orally committed to Arkansas State, completed 11 of 16 for 210 yards and two touchdowns as Cedar Hill blew out Grand Prairie, 68-7. Cedar Hill has won three straight games since opening district with a loss to DeSoto.
