Midland 39, Arlington Bowie 35

LUBBOCK - Running back Tyler Middleton scored on a 2-yard run with 58 seconds left as Midland rallied to beat Arlington Bowie in a Class 5A Division I bi-district game.

Bowie (7-4) held a 21-10 lead at halftime and was ahead 28-19 at the start of the fourth quarter. But Midland (10-1) scored 20 points in the final 12 minutes.

Middleton finished with 224 yards on 21 carries and scored four touchdowns. Russell Hansbrough ran for 172 yards and a touchdown for Bowie, and quarterback Kolby Listenbee accounted for three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing).

After a kickoff return by Malcolm Surrell set Bowie up at its 31-yard line, Listenbee ran for 30 yards to the Midland 39 with 41 seconds left. Three plays later at the Midland 31, a pass to the end zone was intercepted by Midland's Erick Callier.
