Rowlett 66, Garland Naaman Forest 32
GARLAND -- After being bottled up for 46 yards by Wylie a week before, Rowlett's (3-1) Treyvone Green came out of the gates with a vengeance running for 255 yards on 23 carries in a 66-32 win on the road against Naaman Forest (1-3).
Green broke for a 52-yard touchdown on his third touch of the game and two possessions later, the Northwestern commit broke from the line of scrimmage after a touchback for 80 yards untouched.Naaman Forest kept the game close late in the first half, capitalizing on several personal fouls while attacking Rowlett's red zone. Both penalties led to scoring runs of five yards by Justin Torris and Tank Mitchell, respectively. Torris also scored on a 64-yard run off a perfectly executed fake punt.
Green had picked up 196 yards in the first half, and 177 yards on his first seven touches.
Coming off the bench for Rowlett was running back Andron Williams who had five carries for 150 yards including touchdown breaks of 51 and 71 yards.
