Cedar Hill 28, South Grand Prairie 23

GRAND PRAIRIE - Ronnie Green scored from 2 yards out with 1:28 left in the game, as Cedar Hill squeaked out a 28-23 win over South Grand Prairie.

Cedar Hill (6-3, 5-1 District 5-5A), No. 13 in The Dallas Morning News area poll, clinched a playoff berth.

Cedar Hill got behind early, but scored 22 points in the second quarter behind Lovett Gibson and quarterback Driphus Jackson. Lovett caught four passes for 114 yards, and had a key 44-yarder to open the scoring in the second quarter. Jackson finished 12-of-20 passing for 166 yards and two touchdowns.

South Grand Prairie (5-4, 3-3) was led by running back Quaze Woods, who rushed for 101 yards on 16 carries.
