CARROLLTON - Quarterback Miquan Robinson accounted for 271 yards in leading Carrollton Creekview (1-3, 1-0) to a shutout victory over Frisco Heritage (0-4, 0-1) in the District 9-4A opener for both schools.

Robinson, a junior, opened the scoring on a 4-yard touchdown run with 6:35 left in the first quarter. Sandwiched around a 43-yard scoring pass from Robinson to Stephen Buckner were a pair of 1-yard touchdown runs by running back Adrian Williams. Kicker Grant Peltier concluded the first half scoring, booting a 31-yard field goal with six seconds left. Creekview scored on all five of its first half possessions.

Bobby Kennedy scooped up a fumble and raced in from 12 yards out for the lone score in the second half.

Creekview had a balanced offense, totaling 391 yards (201 passing, 190 rushing), while the defense held Heritage to 90 total yards (64 rushing, 26 passing).
