Bishop Lynch 45, John Paul II 7

PLANO - Bishop Lynch quarterback Mark Czaus rushed for 131 yards and three touchdowns, leading Bishop Lynch to a decisive 45-7 victory over John Paul II High School in the regular season finale for both schools.

Bishop Lynch (7-3, 3-3) never trailed, as Czaus scored the game's first three touchdowns en route to a 31-0 halftime lead. Backup quarterback Kyle Jamieson threw for a pair of touchdowns in the second half.

John Paul II (3-7, 0-6) scored its only touchdown in the fourth quarter on a 30-yard grab by Ryan Cook from quarterback Christian Boese. Boese threw for 139 yards, while Cook hauled in six passes for 100 yards.
