Prestonwood Christian 42, Bishop Lynch 21

PLANO - Prestonwood Christian scored 29 unanswered points on five consecutive possessions in the second and third quarters to defeat Bishop Lynch, 42-21, in a TAPPS 1-I district game.

Prestonwood Christian (7-2, 4-1), ranked No. 2 in SportsDay's large private schools poll, was led by Parker Ash who completed 21 of 29 passes for 301 yards and two touchdowns. Kenneth Huggins led all rushers with 134 yards on 23 carries.

Bishop Lynch (5-3, 1-3), the area's fifth-ranked large private school, took the opening kickoff 80 yards on 12 plays and scored on a Mark Czaus 1-yard run. Czaus finished with 144 passing yards and 67 rushing yards while scoring two touchdowns.
