McKinney Boyd scored first on Driskell’s 94-yard run. Backed up to his 6 on a punt, Driskell found an opening on the right side of the line, rambled past the first defender and outran the pursuit. But Jesuit quarterback Jack Brezette directed back-to-back scoring drives, each time hitting Jordan Mastrogiovanni on a short scoring pass. Brezette, who completed 22 of 32 passes for 256 yards, found Jake Oliver open for a 34-yard touchdown pass with eight seconds left before halftime.

“They grabbed the momentum on us in the second quarter,” Boyd coach Don Drake said.
