Frisco Lone Star starts fast, rolls past Van Alstyne
MELISSA — Marcus Ellis rushed for 101 yards and three touchdowns, and Melissa’s defense made a couple of early stops in a 24-7 victory over Farmersville on Friday.
Ellis scored from a yard out early in the first quarter, and then the defense stymied Farmersville’s next two possessions deep in Melissa territory. Farmersville (2-2) reached the 6-yard line and then the 12 but came away empty both times.
