Arlington Martin ace Turner Larkins is proud to say he was drafted before Johnny Manziel

In the 28th round of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft, Arlington Martin senior Turner Larkins finally heard his name announced by the Milwaukee Brewers.

As the 836th overall pick, odds are pretty high that Larkins will stick to his original plan of playing baseball for Texas A&M.

However, his moment in the spotlight was short-lived a certain outgoing Aggie-turned-Cleveland Brown by the name of Johnny Manziel was picked at No. 837 as a short stop by the San Diego Padres.

Larkins, an active Twitter user, took the pick in stride, sending a fun jab at the former Heisman winner, letting the world know he got drafted right before Johnny Football.
