Allen star wrestler Bo Nickal a finalist for National Wrestling Hall of Fame award
Allen wrestler Bo Nickal, who won his third individual UIL state title in February to help Allen win its fifth consecutive Class 5A boys team championship, has been selected by the National Wrestling Hall of Fame as a regional winner of the Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award.
Nickal, who will wrestle for Penn State in the fall, was selected as the Central Region's winner. That makes him one of five finalists for the national Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award that will be presented at the NWHOF Honors Weekend in Stillwater, Okla., on June 20-21.
