Head boys basketball coach Kenny Boren leaves Duncanville, marking third consecutive year the position is up for grabs
Duncanville's head boys basketball coaching position is open for the third consecutive season.

Duncanville boys basketball's head coaching job is open for the third consecutive season as Kenny Boren has left the school. Boren was head coach last season and led Duncanville to the Class 5A regional quarterfinals.
Boren succeeded Danny Henderson, who coached at Duncanville for the 2012-13 season after leading Flower Mound Marcus to back-to-back 5A state titles and three-consecutive state tournaments. Boren was Henderson's top assistant at Marcus and Duncanville before becoming a first-time head coach.
Three years ago, Eric McDade left Duncanville to become coach at Southlake Carroll. In 2008, 27-year Duncanville coach Phil McNeely retired with 702 career wins.
Confirming that the job position is open the Duncanville ISD Human Resources website, where the position, as well as three other coaching spots are up for grabs.
