Baseball player of the week (4/14): Jesuit's Darius Hill

What he did: He singled home the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning against Richardson Berkner on Tuesday. On Friday, he went 3-for-3 in a critical District 9-5A game against W.T. White, hitting a home run in the sixth inning as Jesuit captured an 8-1 victory. In three games for the week, Hill went 6-for-11 (.545), with three runs, three RBIs, three doubles, one triple and a home run.

Who is he? A junior center fielder

The stats: Hilll has a .500 average this season and has recorded nine doubles, seven triples, one home run, 25 RBIs and eight stolen bases.
