Garland Naaman Forest names Marvin Sedberry new head coach; Colleyville Heritage assistant moves to JPII

The coaching carousel in Garland ISD continues with another new head coach at Naaman Forest, and Colleyville Heritage's staff continues to shuffle.

Garland Naaman Forest has named Marvin Sedberry Jr. as its new football coach according to GISD assistant athletic director Cliff Odenwald. Sedberry, 35, has been at Baytown Lee since 2009 and previously was head coach at Fort Worth Poly and an assistant at Lake Highlands. Former Naaman coach Sam McElroy moved into GISD athletic administration.

John Paul II has named John Furin as head coach. Furin has been a longtime assistant at Colleyville Heritage and Grapevine.
