Shaq gets 'misty eyed' during 25th anniversary celebration for 3A state title at San Antonio Cole
So why is Shaquille O'Neal crying?
Or at least acting like it? (As we know from his on-screen career, the big guy has trouble swaying an audience.)
It's not because he remembered his performance in Kazaam, but as part of a warm honor given to him and his 1989 San Antonio Cole teammates celebrating the 25th anniversary of their class 3A championship title, in which Cole capped off a 68-1 run behind O'Neill from 1987-89.
Shaq would go on to be a star at LSU and have a 19 season NBA career, most notably with the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat.
