The Colony running back Bryan Hammond headed to Navy after tearing ACL

The Colony star running back Bryan Hammond said a lot of schools stopped recruiting him after he tore the ACL in his right knee, even though he had rushed for 1,572 yards and 22 touchdowns in eight games as a senior. But he said Navy was "loyal to me throughout."

So even when Air Force made a late run at Hammond last week, he stuck by his commitment to Navy. He said he will redshirt next season, giving him extra time to recover from his injury.
