Ennis, Princeton among schools that will add travel in new UIL alignment
The new realignment brought added travel distances for Ennis and Princeton.
Ennis, which is currently in District 15-4A that includes schools from Lancaster, Arlington, Mansfield, Red Oak and Waxahachie, will now be in a district that stretches east. Ennis is part of the new 16-5A, which includes Corsicana, Jacksonville, Lindale, Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Tyler and Whitehouse.
Princeton is currently in 12-3A with Melissa, Bonham, Anna and Nevada Community. Princeton's new football district will be 7-4A-I (classes 4A and below are split into Divisions I and II before the season). Members of 7-4A-I will be Paris, Paris North Lamar, Pittsburg, Princeton, Quinlan Ford and Texarkana Liberty-Eylau.
