Euless Trinity could easily be 0-2 this week and then start rolling
Euless Trinity lost to Jenks, 27-23, on Saturday. It was a tough day for the Trojans.
The first game of the season showed that Trinity has lots of things to work on, including developing enough of a passing threat to keep defenses from crowding the line of scrimmage.
But Jenks is a very good team. And for the Trojans' fans who are looking for a pick-me-up today, here's a reminder of the early results for Trinity during its last two championship seasons:
2009 1-2 (with losses to Allen and Cedar Hill)
2007 2-1 (with a 30-3 loss to Odessa Permian)
This week Trinity takes on DeSoto, one of the state's best teams. We'll know a lot more about the Trojans after Saturday. Last year DeSoto rolled over Trinity, 42-21.
