Former Skyline QB Devante Kincade impressing at Ole Miss
Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze likes what he sees from former Skyline standout Devante Kincade.
Kincade has been practicing with the second-team offense and has even taken a few reps with the first team, reports OleMissSports.com.
"I'm real excited about him," Freeze told OleMissSports.com. "I think he's going to be a really good player, and he wants to. He studies hard and works hard. He wants to be a leader."
Kincade threw for 2,865 yards and 38 touchdowns last season at Skyline. He also rushed for 861 yards and 12 more scores.
Kincade is vying for the backup QB role behind starter Bo Wallace.
