Bryan Adams football coach Derick Roberson set to become DISD assistant athletic director

Bryan Adams football coach Derick Roberson confirmed Monday that he has accepted a position as assistant athletic director for the Dallas Independent School District.

Roberson replaces Clint Roddy, who left DISD to become the Irving ISD athletic director in May. The sports under Roberson's supervision will be football, track and field and golf, he said.

Roberson is set to begin work at his new position on July 29. He's a 16-year coaching veteran and spent the last five as the head coach at Bryan Adams.
