Irving Nimitz football coach Steven Hohenberger approved as new coach at Paris
Steven Hohenberger, who has been the Irving Nimitz football coach and athletic coordinator since 2006, has been approved as the new football coach and athletic director at Paris. Hohenberger was approved by the Paris ISD board of trustees Monday, according to The Paris News.
Hohenberger became the Nimitz coach in 2006 after longtime coach Mike Farda resigned. Hohenberger had been the defensive coordinator at Nimitz prior to being elevated to the top job and had been at Nimitz for 15 years total.
With Hohenberger as coach, Nimitz made the playoffs twice, in 2009 and 2010.
