Moriah Jefferson leads Dallas-area players in All-American game

MacArthur's Alexis Jones scores nine points in West's 79-78 loss in McDonald's all-star game

Because she played for the Texas Home Educators’ Sports Association (THESA), area girls basketball fans had to go out of their way to see Moriah Jefferson play. On Wednesday, in the McDonald’s All-American game at Chicago's United Center, she was there for everyone to watch.

Though her West team lost 79-78, to the East, Jefferson made a basket in the final minute that brought the West to within two points. She started the game and finished with 10 points.
