Travis Yoder named new Highland Park baseball coach

Highland Park named Travis Yoder as head baseball coach to succeed retiring Fred Oliver.

A 1995 Plano graduate, Yoder has been an assistant at Highland Park since 2006. He was head coach at Adamson for five seasons before coming to Highland Park.

In the last four years under Oliver, Highland Park had a 101-43-2 record. The Scots finished 19-15 and shared the District 10-4A championship with Forney this season. Highland Park lost a best-of-3 series to Prosper in the bi-district round.
