1A-4A Football Division Splits

Among the changes this year, the 4A and 3A classifications will also be pre-divided into Division I and Division II districts. Formerly, it was only 1A and 2A that had specific split divisions for district play.

For example, Sunnyvale, which is one of the closest schools to Dallas to have gone through the district split, used to play in District 6-2A Division I. Now classifications through 4A will have the divisional breakdown, incorporating more of the Dallas area’s smaller schools.
