Best first-round game: Skyline vs. West Mesquite. Led by Sha’Georgia Williams and Claudia Price, West Mesquite would make itself an immediate contender to win the tournament by springing an upset.
Championship game: 6 p.m. Thursday at Ellis Davis
Dream final: Skyline vs. Lincoln. Dallas ISD’s 5A power and 4A power would meet. Lincoln beat Skyline 63-59 last year.

Tickets: $8 adult/$7 student single-day, $20 adult/$18 student full-tournament pass, $14 adult/$12 student two-day tournament pass
Best first-round game: Ennis vs. Mansfield Timberview. Ennis is improved just enough, behind freshman guard Arlandria Harris, to challenge Timberview. An upset is unlikely, but Timberview can’t overlook Ennis.
Championship game: 7 p.m. Thursday at Legacy High School
Dream final: Mansfield Timberview vs. Mansfield Summit. With Summit in 4A and Timberview in 5A, these teams won’t play each other in district. Both could be district champs and have a shot at the state tournament. Summit beat Timberview by five earlier this year.

Tickets: $22 adult pass/$13 student pass, $8 adult/$5 student for Tuesday and Wednesday; $10 adult/$7 student for Thursday
Best first-round game: Frisco Wakeland vs. Bishop Lynch. Private school power Lynch takes on last season’s 4A Region II semifinalist. Wakeland is rebuilding. Lynch nearly defeated TABC No. 2 Southlake Carroll this year.
Championship game: 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Duncanville
Dream final: Duncanville vs. Plano West. These teams could be the best in 5A Region I. Plano West defeated Duncanville 58-50 earlier this year.
