Week 6 HS football private roundup: Strong second half lifts TCA-Addison over unbeaten Bishop Lynch
Bishop Lynch scores only 3 points after grabbing lead at break
Daniel Davidson threw for 358 yards and three scores, and Brock Thomas returned an interception for a touchdown, leading TCA-Addison to a 45-34 victory over Bishop Lynch.
Trailing 31-24 at halftime, TCA-Addison (4-2, 1-1 TAPPS 1-I) stepped up its defense and allowed Bishop Lynch (5-1, 2-1) only three points in the second half.
Tanner Snow had 13 receptions for 133 yards and a score, while Nahshon Ellerbe rushed for 156 yards and a touchdown.
Barrett Renner threw for 190 yards and two scores, while Ira Nunley IV led Bishop Lynch in rushing with 95 yards.
St. Mark’s 38, Episcopal Dallas 19
Quarterback John Webb threw for 365 yards and five touchdowns, including three in the first quarter, as St. Mark’s built a 35-16 halftime lead.
In the second half, both teams struggled on offense as each only managed a field goal.

Quarterback Chase McCoy paced the John Paul II attack with 74 yards rushing and 55 yards passing.

Garland Christian (3-2, 1-0 TAPPS 3-III) scored 48 unanswered points in the first half, and Braxton Berry threw for 419 yards and five touchdowns.

Kade Clayton ran for 143 yards and three touchdowns to lead Tyler Grace Community (5-1, 2-1 TAPPS 2-II). Blake White completed 10 of 11 passes for 204 yards and two scores. Adam Graham chipped in 106 yards and a touchdown on three rushes.
Rich Morton led Shelton (1-4, 1-2) with 218 rushing yards on 29 carries, and Ben Luedkte added 145 yards on 25 carries. Each scored a touchdown for Shelton.

TYLER—Parish Episcopal held Tyler Gorman to just 9 yards rushing, and quarterback Jeff Davis passed for 185 yards and two touchdowns. Zach Shelley rushed for 173 yards and three touchdowns on nine carries.

D’Andre Cannon ran for 137 yards on six carries and scored three touchdowns — all in the first half — to lead Dallas Christian (6-0, 3-0 TAPS 2-II) over Carrollton Prince of Peace (4-2, 1-2).

OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma City Casady outscored Cistercian, 28-0, in the second half to rally for the SPC North win.
Dare Odeyingbo ran for 188 yards and four touchdowns for Cistercian (5-2, 3-2), the No. 4 team in SportsDay’s small private school area rankings. Jack Garda returned an interception for Cistercian’s other touchdown.
