Euless Trinity defensive end Sam Tevi pulls trigger, commits to Utah
Sam Tevi held over 10 offers, but the Euless Trinity defensive end decided Utah was the place for him and committed over the weekend.
"When I went up there for the All Poly camp, I took my unofficial visit [to Utah] and I just fell in love with it right when I stepped on campus. It was just a feeling. The coaches up there are incredible. They treat you like their own son," Tevi told Rivals.com. "When I went up there, I felt like I knew the players forever. It's like they were in a line waiting to introduce themselves to me."
The 6-foot-5, 255-pounder was ranked as 68 best defensive end in the country by Scout.com. The recruiting service rated Tevi as three-star prospect.
