Report: Euless Trinity to open 2012 football season at Washington power Seattle Bellevue

Euless Trinity will start the football season with a road trip. A long one.

The Trojans will travel to SeattleĀ  to take on Washington power Bellevue on Aug. 30, according to The Seattle Times. The game between Trinity, which finished 12-1 last year and lost to Arlington Martin in the 5A Division I Region I semifinals, and Bellevue, which has won four straight Washington 3A titles, will be played at Memorial Stadium.

Trinity, which won 5A state titles in 2007 and 2009, has played several out-of-state opponents over the years. But the Trojans have never played any of those games outside of Texas.
