Hebron dominant in 20-point victory against 8-5A foe Plano West

PLANO — Considering the close games that Hebron and Plano West have been involved in, Friday’s matchup promised high drama.

But Hebron broke from form with a dominant performance. The Hawks took a 14-point lead into halftime and then rode that momentum to a 37-17 victory at John Clark Stadium.

Coming off a three-point loss to Plano East, Hebron left nothing to chance against a Plano West team that had averaged 40 points in its previous three District 8-5A games.
