ARLINGTON -- Quarterback Collin Strahan ran for four touchdowns and threw another to lead an explosive Mesquite Horn attack in its 44-22 win over Rowlett in a 5A Division II area round game Friday night at Cowboys Stadium.
Strahan, who finished the night with 378 yards of total offense, set the tone early, hitting wide receiver Jakeem Grant on an 80-yard scoring strike on the first play from scrimmage.
Rowlett rallied after falling behind 20-3, scoring two touchdowns in just over a minute at the end of the first half. Running back Treyvon Green's 16-yard touchdown run closed the deficit to 20-15.

Grant finished with four receptions for 127 yards and 27 yards rushing. Wide receiver Logan Brown led Rowlett with eight receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown.
The win propelled Horn to the regional semifinals for the first time in school history. Horn will face the winner of Saturday's game between Leander and Klein
