Country music superstar Kenny Chesney appears at Celina pep rally

Celina High School's gym during a Friday afternoon pep rally was a crush of screaming orange-and-white fans. Bobcat cheerleaders, band members, students, and teachers yelled and chanted to pump up their boys of fall.

And they screamed extra-loud this afternoon when country superstar Kenny Chesney wearing a Celina-orange cap, paid a surprise visit to their school.

"It was like a dream," said cheerleader Beth Anne Cobb, 16.

Chesney visited Celina to thank students and the community for their participation in the music video for his hit song "Boys of Fall." Chesney's team spent two days in north Texas last fall interviewing students and fans at Celina's last game of the season. The Bobcat team is featured prominently in the video and Chesney's new 90-minute documentary.
