Injury can't keep Prestonwood's Julius Randle down; he returns, helps UK to final

Kentucky forward Julius Randle came out of the game for about two minutes in the first half after rolling his right ankle.

Randle, a Plano Prestonwood product, came off the floor with 9:29 remaining in the first half after an awkward landing. He stepped off the bench and limped around the tunnel area for a few minutes before returning. He re-entered the game at the 7:47 mark.

The injury didn’t seem to affect him the rest of the half. Randle finished the first half tied for the team lead with nine points on 4-of-6 shooting in 15 minutes.

“I’m definitely not satisfied,” Randle said. “We have one more game to go. We have been through a lot this year and we deserve to reward ourselves and go out there and play hard and give it all we got. Definitely not satisfied.”
