Offensive Player of the Week (10/28): Anna’s Isaac Armijo
What he did: Armijo led Anna to its third win of the season in a 42-28 stunner against previously unbeaten Princeton. Armijo carried the ball 35 times and scored five of Anna’s six touchdowns.
Who he is: A 5-7, 175-pound sophomore running back.
The stats: 35 carries for 294 yards and five touchdowns.
Coach said it: “He’s got good balance and a low center of gravity, so he’s able to make cuts, and he’s tough to bring down. It usually takes two or three guys to bring him down.” — Jason Heath
He said it: “I’m still a little shocked that we came out with that win. We were underestimated, and they were undefeated. I’m just shocked we came out with it.”
