Offensive Player of the Week (10/14): McKinney Boyd’s Dedrick Scrivens

What he did: Scrivens was a workhorse throughout McKinney Boyd's 42-21 upset of then-No. 14 Plano West. He carried the ball 34 times and scored the first and last touchdowns of the game, including a 56-yard run midway through the first quarter.

Who he is: A 5-9, 185-pound junior running back.

The stats: 34 carries for 264 yards and five touchdowns.

He said it: "It was the best overall performance out of the entire offense this season. Plano West is a pretty good team, and this was a high-caliber game."
