The stats: She's averaging 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 5.1 steals. Newman has scored more than 2,000 points and made more than 300 3-pointers in her four-year career.
She said it: "I've been playing since I was 6. I've never had any private lessons; it just came to me. … Being good at it and loving it, it's a perfect combination."
