Lindy Ruff says calmness of Kari Lehtonen's game feeds into Stars' current confidence

Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen is 4-1 in the playoffs with a 2.01 GAA and .925 save percentage. Stars coach Lindy Ruff said he likes the confidence Lehtonen is showing after winning his first playoff series. Lehtonen lost to Anaheim in 2014 in a tough Game 6, but then beat Minnesota this season in Round 1 in Game 6.

"There's some calmness to his game now, and I think the team feeds off of that calmness," Ruff said. "It gives you that confidence that he finally knows he can be the goalie and help win a playoff series. I was extremely happy for him. The criticism has been there. He was in a tough place year one when I was here when we lost out, and it's been a heck of a battle for him."
