Report: Greg Hardy late to Cowboys meetings day after Twitter issue

According to Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports, Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy was late to meetings on Thursday as Dallas prepared for Tampa Bay.

"On FOX NFL Kickoff Sunday morning, I took the viewers through a crazy week with the Dallas Cowboys that included Bryant's rant against the media. Sources said that day began with Greg Hardy arriving late for work and missing nearly all of the morning's meetings. It's unclear if Hardy was disciplined at all, though it's obvious he didn't lose out on any playing time on Sunday against the Buccaneers."

Asked if the report was true, Stephen Jones didn't get into specifics in a radio interview with G-Bag Nation on KRLD-FM 105.3 in Dallas.

"We won't discuss internal things that are going on in our building," Jones said. "Obviously people can speculate, but we're not going to address that."

The day before the meetings, Hardy was the center of two items of note on social media. Early in the day, Hardy took to Twitter to declare his innocence and suggest he's the victim of discrimination. Cowboys coach Jason Garrett reacted to that hours later saying the Cowboys had addressed the issue with him. Later in the day, a complete transcript of his reinstatement hearing with the NFL from eight months ago surfaced.
