Cowboys RB Alfred Morris ships his 1991 Mazda to Dallas

Cowboys running back Alfred Morris has earned over $3 million in his career but still drives the 1991 Mazda 626 Sedan he bought for $2 from his pastor during college.

"I'm loyal to my car," he told Jalopnik a few years ago, explaining that he doesn't feel the need to show off his money with expensive cars and clothing. "I didn't grow up with a lot. This helps me remember where I come from and where I'm going."

But the car, which Morris lovingly dubbed "The Bentley," got left behind in Washington after Morris signed with the Cowboys this offseason.

Morris recently corrected that by shipping the car across the country to Dallas.

"I had it shipped from Washington, D.C. I didn't get to drive it down because I had to get here so quickly for 'captain's workouts' after I signed with the Cowboys (on March 22nd)," Morris said, according to 5pointsblue.com. "They already had over 40 guys who were back for workouts. So I came quickly and was part of that. I had the car shipped and I'm driving it now."

Hopefully Morris won't have to compare the car to Michael Irvin's actual Bentley anytime soon.
