Fort Worth All Saints quarterback Foster Sawyer commits to TCU

Fort Worth All Saints' Foster Sawyer orally committed to TCU Thursday night. The news was first reported by

Rated a 3-star recruit and the 12th-best at his position by Rivals, Sawyer chose TCU over offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Houston, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Oregon State and UCLA.

Last year, Sawyer threw for 2,725 yards and 31 touchdowns in leading All Saints to the SPC state championship and an undefeated season. In the SPC title game against Houston St. John's, Sawyer threw for 454 yards and six touchdowns.

Sawyer is the second 2014 quarterback to commit to TCU. Decatur's Grayson Muehlstein committed in February.
