LSU athletic director takes shot at Tom Herman, saying Orgeron wasn't looking for 'bidding war' or 'games'

Texas and LSU now have their next coaches in place.

But it sounds like LSU's athletic director may be throwing shade at one of the Tigers' original targets, Tom Herman, who sources told SportsDay's Chuck Carlton on Saturday is headed to Austin to take Charlie Strong's old job at Texas.

In comments shared by The Advocate's Ross Dellenger out of Baton Rouge, LSU AD Joe Alleva seemed to take a shot at Herman after the Tigers settled on interim coach Ed Orgeron as their next coach, saying Coach O "wasn't going to play games with us."
