Baylor's Johnathan Motley named to AP All-America second team

Baylor junior power forward Johnathan Motley was named to the Associated Press All-America second team on Tuesday, the third Baylor player to ever receive the honor.

Motley, a 6-foot-10 Houston native, averaged 17.3 points and 9.9 rebounds per game this year, both team highs. He became Baylor's first unanimous selection to the All-Big 12 first team this season.

Motley is the first Bear since Terry Teagle in 1982 to be named to an AP All-American. Vinnie Johnson also received the honor in 1979.
